After doing a few engagement sessions, i think i am finally getting the hang of this! Tim and Cailin are such a great couple and you can tell how in love the are in these pictures. It was my husband's idea for them to do pictures on the new football field (since Tim is a coach) and i have to give him credit, they turned out GREAT! I am so in love with these image and definitely gaining confidence in my work.
Calli & Hannah
I just love these girls to pieces and we has such a blast having a little photo shoot! We just took a lot of fun, silly, and playful pictures for something to do on a beautiful fall day. They really turned out great and now they have some fantastic images of the two of them.
Matt & Hillary
These engagement pictures were a thousand times easier than the first! I have know Matthew since i was little and when he got engaged i jumped on the opportunity to take some more pictures. We had the perfect fall day and the colors that formed the background couldn't have been more beautiful.
Peyton
Peyton was the very first child that i have ever done pictures for and what a little trooper. It was an extremely hot summer day when we took these and she was full of energy. What i learned very quickly is that you can't pose small children easily, so just keep shooting! I chased her around the park and followed her as she ran and played. I went home from this scared that i had nothing, but they actually turned out quite well despite being able to shoot set poses/shots.
Michale & Lauren
After my last engagement pictures i decided that i should get some more practice shooting couples/groups of people in order to improve my work. Of course, my brother conveniently had a girlfriend and i immediately asked them to be my test subjects. They agreed and Lauren (his girlfriend) was excited to have some "good" pictures taken of the two of them. They were fantastic to work with and did most of the silly stuff i asked them to do! I am slowly but surely learning what poses look good, what don't, and what couples are looking for as far as poses.
Tommy & Jill
These were the first "engagement pictures" that i ever attempted. The sun was a slight challenge, being that i am new to the photography thing, but i think they turned out pretty well. They were so great to work with and through a collaborative effort their pictures went great. It is with out a doubt awkward to pose people when you first start but once i got in a grove, it was second nature! I was so honored that they liked my work and even used some of the images for their save the date cards.
